Completion of 2024 Management Development Training Program

Hello, this is the General Affairs Department.

Since 2024, the Kanesa Group has been conducting training aimed at enhancing management skills and developing human capabilities for our management personnel.

Each month, we alternated between lectures by President Masamune and specialist instructors, and after approximately one year, we have completed this training program this month.

The final training session featured individual presentations on President Masamune’s assignment: “Will (what you want to become), Can (what you can become), Must (what you should become).”

We asked participants to share their thoughts after completing the training!

Fukushima Branch Deputy Manager, Mr. A

Participating in the management training provided me with an opportunity to reconsider what management truly means from various perspectives.

Through group discussions on each topic with fellow participants, each bringing their own thoughts and ideas, I gained valuable experience in understanding the importance and difficulty of organizing and communicating ideas.

Additionally, I feel that one of the significant benefits of this management training was experiencing the atmosphere of our headquarters and having the opportunity to interact with colleagues from headquarters, various branches, and sales offices whom I rarely have the chance to meet.

I would like to implement the fundamental management roles we learned—clearly defining objectives, giving instructions, and executing plans—throughout our branch operations.

Hachinohe Branch Deputy Manager, Mr. S

Through this training, I was able to learn primarily about management, leadership, and business operations.

My strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement became clear, and things I had previously approached somewhat intuitively now have a clear direction for how they should be handled moving forward.

Furthermore, regarding challenging contemporary issues such as compliance and harassment, I aim to stay continuously updated and respond flexibly. Based on the skills learned in this training, I want to contribute to human resource development, organizational building, and employment stability.

The 2025 management development training program will begin with some new members joining. Let’s continue to think individually and take on challenges to make our company an even better organization!

After completing approximately three weeks of training since April 1, they are now being assigned to their respective departments starting today. Out of the 9, 8 will be assigned to the Delivery Department of Gyohai Co., Ltd., and 1 will be assigned to the Human Resources Department of Kanesa Fujiwaraya Co., Ltd. During the training, the new employees toured factories and experienced various departments. Additionally, four executives gave talks: President Masamune Sato, Vice President Mariko Sato, Former President Yuji Sato of Kanesa Fujiwaraya Co., Ltd., and President Shigeo Sato of Gyohai Co., Ltd. These talks were a valuable opportunity for the new employees to directly feel the thoughts of the executives, bringing them closer to the leadership team. We hope they will shine in their new assignments, cherishing what they learned and felt during the training!   With the addition of these 9 new team members, the Kanesa Group will continue striving even harder this fiscal year. If you see our new employees during deliveries, we would be grateful if you could give them a warm welcome.   Starting this year, the

First Employee Cafeteria Buffet

This is from the General Affairs Department. As part of our employee benefits at the headquarters, we have an employee cafeteria where meals cost only 300 yen each. Tracing the history of our employee cafeteria, it began with former Vice President Fujio Sato of Fujiwaraya’s thoughtful desire: “I want to let employees eat lunch without worrying about money or portion sizes.” It seems that in the past, female employees would help prepare lunch, but currently, a contracted company prepares delicious lunches every day. Normally, there’s a daily changing menu like this, including seasonal offerings. (The menu can also be changed to noodle dishes) The company contracted to run our employee cafeteria planned and hosted a “Cafeteria Buffet”! They prepared many different dishes! That day, there was also a management training session, so employees from all six Tohoku prefectures enjoyed the delicious meal together. Usually, about 60 people use the cafeteria, but on this day, it was very busy with 100 people!   Chicken Yakisoba Braised pork belly Salad Minestrone Cake, and many other items were available. I was also able to enjoy eating for the full hour of my break. The Kanesa Group implements various initiatives for employees, including this
